I haven't cracked...no cigarettes and I haven't chopped off anyones head! Success! I don't want to gain 15 lbs though, so I'm back to the no/low carb thing. It's made me a little more OCD then usual with the cleaning/laundry. That's not a bad thing :) I started reading "Captivating" again, definatly finding myself in it all over again. It's a great book, pretty sure every woman could relate.
This weekend the boys had their first soccer games, it was a lot of fun, and they both won! Caleb's "girlfriend"-thingy is driving me NUTS!! HOLY MOLY~just checked his phone account, his texts from THIS weekend alone is "500". Houston, we have a problem. I don't think this little girls parents are as active as they should be. I keep saying to him, and myself, "this is all new to me, I have NO idea how to parent a preteen boy, bare with me, I'm gonna screw this up at times"..... He's pretty open with me and talks a lot, if we can keep that going I know it'll make all the difference in the world.

I meant to tell you a few weeks ago about something Caleb did while we were at Mom and Dad's house. When we showed up, Brooke was wearing her princess dress and a tiara, which she wears both of all the time. Anyway, we walked in the door to be greeted by Caleb and the first thing he says is, "Brookie, you look beautiful!" It was the sweetest thing ever. For a 10 year old boy to even thing to tell his little cousin that she looks beautiful just warmed my heart! You've got some pretty amazing kiddos! We loved spending time with them.
oh, that's so great! I love when they do stuff like that! He can still be a typical brother and pick on his siblings, but so often he is the opposite and it blesses me so much :)

Saying not to be so preoccupied in a relationship in my teens (I was not the girl guys wanted at Cay-Cay's age...lol) never really worked on me. But getting me involved in stuff always kept the balance.
The best was when one of my parents or grandparents would take me on a trip by myself.
